Animation Campaign

Climate change is an ongoing global issue, yet it is often communicated in ways that feel overwhelming or disconnected, particularly for young people and sceptical audiences. This project explores how motion design can transform complex climate information into content that is clear, engaging and relatable. Following a creative conscience brief, the aim was to educate, raise awareness and encourage discussion without spreading fear amongst people.

Methods including research, storyboarding and iterative design testing were used to refine the visual language and communication. A key challenge was simplifying complex information whilst maintaining accuracy and relevance. A consistent visual identity was developed across all outcomes, with careful consideration given to digital accessibility and environmentally friendly products.

The final outcome is an educational animation that communicates current climate issues in a clear and engaging format. Supporting merchandise reinforces the campaign message and encourages conversation amongst people.
